The artist
Shalini Tomar
Shalini Tomar paints under the name Sthuthi Art. The thirty-five works gathered here are all hers — originals, each one signed on the surface of the paper.
Her subjects move freely between the devotional and the domestic: Krishna and Hanuman rendered in bold ink and saffron, a lotus left almost untouched, a glass of chai holding an ordinary morning. What holds them together is a preference for stillness and for space that is allowed to stay empty.
Works are released directly from her studio. Anything a collector needs to know beyond what is written here — measurements, materials, framing — is answered personally on enquiry.
