About this painting

Rama in a powerful archer's stance, bold black linework on gold. Original canvas, unframed — dynamic and focused.

This is the more dynamic of the two Rama pieces in the collection — instead of contemplative stillness, it captures him mid-action, in a powerful archer's stance, sweeping black linework set against aged golden tones. The moment chosen is specific: the focus right before the bow is drawn, when nothing has been decided yet. That sense of coiled potential gives the piece real energy, and its graphic, ink-like treatment sets it apart from the more richly colored devotional pieces elsewhere in the collection. Original, hand-painted canvas, rounded and unframed.
