How sizing works: every tier is hand-painted to order on rounded canvas with no frame, in the same composition and palette as the original. Price scales with the painted area.

About this painting

A shadowed forest path leading toward one point of distant light. Original canvas, unframed — moody, atmospheric, and quietly hopeful.

The whole piece works like a held breath. Tall, charcoal-toned trees crowd in on either side of a woodland path, dense and quiet, while a single opening of warm light sits at the far end — the one bright thing in an otherwise dark composition, pulling the eye straight through the canvas toward it. That contrast between mystery and relief is what gives the piece its pull. It works especially well above a fireplace or sofa, or anywhere with a long wall that can hold a strong, deep sightline. Original, hand-painted canvas, rounded and unframed, nothing reproduced.
