About this painting
Ripples spreading across still water beneath a hazy horizon. Original canvas, unframed — meditative and quietly minimal.
The idea here is small on purpose. Concentric ripples move outward across a still, blue-gray surface beneath a soft, hazy horizon — a single ordinary event, caught at the moment its effect is still spreading, rather than a dramatic scene. That restraint gives it something close to the spirit of a Zen koan: nothing much happening, and somehow worth sitting with anyway. It suits spas, yoga studios, and therapy offices particularly well — anywhere the room is trying to slow a person down rather than energize them. Original, hand-painted canvas, rounded and unframed, nothing reproduced.
